“My mama’s not going to be proud of the fact I can’t seem to keep my pants on around you boys.” – Family Values
Family Values is a short 73 page contemporary western tale about a young girl who grew up on a ranch owned by a family with three handsome boys. This is the eighth tale in the Lone Star Lovers series. Once the girl comes of age, the boys start to get serious, and seriously jealous. After a huge falling out, the oldest brother escorts her from the house and she strikes out on her own for four years. When her mother calls her back home for a family emergency, she has to take up residence in the family’s home again…and the boys have been waiting. Angelina is determined to keep the guys at arm’s length and not cause a disturbance in the family again. Will they be able to find a way to make things work…as a foursome?
I have to admire the amount of story that the author managed to pack into 73 pages, but it could have been so much more! There is a lot of steamy hot loving happening in this book, and if you have reservations about experimentation and ménage…then get ready to expand your mind. Delilah Devlin is known for her smoking scenes, and Family Values is definitely a representation of her skills. It is a great before bedtime read or suitable for short commutes.
