Accidentally…Over? by Mimi Jean Pamfiloff

Mimi Jean Pamfiloff has managed to finish off her well-loved Accidentally Yours series in an explosive, hilarious, and action-packed 400 pages.  Fans enjoyed the six stories in this series so far (including the two novellas) and each tale was more fantastic than the last.  This paranormal romance/garage sale party/unicorn clown hunt of a series has never disappointed, and the author plays hard each time she comes to bat with a book.  This final book focuses on Máax, the invisible bad boy of the effed up pantheon of gods and goddesses that Mimi Jean cooked up in her fantastic writer brain.  Fate ties Máax up with a female that the universe is bent on taking out, and his sister Cimil sends him in to take care of business.

If you have read the series so far, you know that any task…or pretty much anything to do with Cimil…is going to be messed up.  In this case, Cimil throws Máax directly in the path of his fated mate.  Máax’s struggle to resist Ashli is not unlike watching a boa constrictor feed upon live mice at the pet store (what a comparison, right?) but you definitely will not want to look away.  Máax and Ashli are a perfect couple, and cameos from the other gods, goddesses, and mates provide a little something extra.  While I will definitely miss the series, she managed to finish it on such a high note that I will remember it fondly for a long, long time…and since I bought all the books I can read it again whenever I want!  You want this book, you need this book, and if you haven’t read the series, then your life as a paranormal romance reader/author stalker is not yet complete.  Anyone with an appreciation for humor, romance, and anything from a mild dislike to flaming hatred of clowns will fall in love.

Oh, and she is working an offshoot of this series called Immortal Matchmakers, Inc. which promises to be just as epic.

In the words of Máax,” YOLO, motherfucker. YOLO.”
